By creating an account or using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, have read and understood these Terms, and agree to comply with them. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
2. Description of Service
MyDentist is an online dental marketplace that connects patients with accredited dental clinics in Kenya. The platform facilitates appointment bookings, enables access to dental offers and promotions, and provides educational dental health content. MyDentist does not provide dental services directly.
3. User Accounts
- You must provide accurate and complete information when registering.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- You may not share your account with others or create multiple accounts.
- MyDentist reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Clinic Listings & Appointments
MyDentist facilitates connections between patients and dental clinics. We do not guarantee the availability, quality, or outcomes of any dental services provided by partner clinics. All appointments are subject to clinic-specific terms, including cancellation and rescheduling policies.
5. Prohibited Conduct
- Using the Service for any unlawful purpose.
- Posting false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
- Attempting to gain unauthorised access to other accounts or our systems.
- Interfering with or disrupting the integrity of the Service.
- Reverse engineering or extracting source code from the platform.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on the MyDentist platform, including logos, text, graphics, and software, is the property of MyDentist or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MyDentist shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or goodwill.
8. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Kenya. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kenya.
